Native Smoke Cleanser aka Witch Sticks
These Native Australian smoke tools are handcrafted with foraged shrubs & plants from Bunurong Country.
Low miles, low impact & local, these bundles offer a less harmful alternative to white sage, which, due to its rise in popularity has become overharvested for profit, creating supply and access challenges for the indigenous peoples of America who have worked with white sage in ceremony for centuries.
My process is slow. Thank you to my newfound sisterwitch Suna, for being still with me & creating this current batch whilst water fasting. She fondly named them “witch sticks”. I love it.
Being seasonal, the current plant harvested is Olearea Axillaris (Coastal Daisy) as pictured.
Note: herbal quantities and shapes vary due to the handmade nature of this product. approximate dimensions - 10cm x 1.5cm.
Correct Storage: Herbs may absorb water from the air over time, making them less likely to burn well. After use, store in an airtight container. If damp, dry in the sun to restore.
